Delete your account

How to permanently delete your Puffulet account and the data linked to it.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Puffulet and tap Settings.
2. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. If you signed in with Apple, you may be asked to confirm with your Apple ID.

Deletion happens immediately.

Without the app

Email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my Puffulet account”. If you used Apple's Hide My Email, send it from that relay address or include it. We'll confirm it's you and delete your account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in account (Apple or Google link), profile and preferences
• Your pet, your plan, alarms and reminder settings, affirmations and verses
• Your full check-in history and any check-in clips still in storage
• Lock Screen (Live Activity) tokens; alarms and reminders on your phone are cancelled

What isn't deleted

• Your subscription isn't cancelled automatically. Apple bills it, so cancel it in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions, before or after deleting your account.
• Purchase records kept by Apple and by RevenueCat, our subscription provider, as accounting and tax law require. Ask us and we'll have RevenueCat delete what the law doesn't require them to keep.
• Technical logs, which expire on their own after about 30 days, and backups, which are overwritten on their normal schedule.
